Today was one of those days that I don't wanna have ever again, but I know I will. My cat, who has been my greatest companion for the past 14 years, had to be put to sleep because of the pain he was going through due to kidney problems. He was just such an awesome cat... I can't really explain it; he was just always there and made everyone in the family feel good. Don't really have much else to say. We had already planned for today to be the day, so it was nice to get out to the dunes before it happened and just clear my head of any conscious thought. Did a 40 minute run through trail 9 and part of trails 7 and 8; basically just tore myself apart. I really wish tomorrow wasn't a recovery day because I'm up for doing it again. Later~ Rich
